BNCarthew - Jewellers selling high end jewellery, certified diamonds and precious stones
During the period of ownership Mode Solutions offered advice and assistance on an ad hoc basis providing basic marketing suggestions despite the fact that BNCarthew was not a marketing client. In March 2008, with the site doing very little, we were asked to provide marketing support. For this arrangement we offered the Partner Marketing Contract. This contract covers our base costs to get the site redeveloped and start the marketing with the long term aim of sharing in the marketing success of the work we carry out. The initial work takes place over a 6 month period and involves a full site makeover and review of marketplace. We then target key marketing points within the site and look to offer additional content and keyword placement to achieve intially short term aims but with a longer term strategy for marketing.

'Certified diamonds' is a crucial keyword term and is the starting point of our marketing campaign. Our long term campaign is the keyword 'Engagement Ring'. We re-developed the site and upgraded the e-commerce platform to take into account the higher end market that we were aiming for. Then working with the client we worked on the wording and content of the site and re-positioned the keyword marketing within the product lines themselves. After 3 months hard work we re-launched the site with its new look and as of August 2008 5 months on and 2 months into the campaign, we have achieved second page positioning for our client. We also introduced an affiliate program, which will help in improving the link backs into the and improve the sales drive. The first part of our marketing campaign has 2 months left to go and we are confident that our expectations will be achieved.
